Implement 5210

REVIEW

To get started, the point of contact, or POC, should be familiar with the available materials, specifically the Implementation Guide and Toolkits.  These tools will help the POC be prepared to understand, answer questions, and implement 5210.  The POC is responsible for implementing the campaign throughout the installation or community and should be the local subject matter expert.  The POC can reach out to the Clearinghouse at 5210@psu.edu for assistance when needed.

Implementation Guide

The Implementation Guide is a helpful tool for the POC who will be implementing the campaign on his or her installation or in his or her community. The Guide is available for download after watching the first training module and should be printed and referred to throughout the implementation of the campaign. To watch the first module, click here.  For more information on implementing the 5210 campaign, please contact us at 5210@psu.edu.

Toolkits

The toolkits can be used by both military and civilian communities to help promote the 5210 health messaging campaign.  They have been developed for 15 venues that are typically found in a community.  They can be downloaded as a complete toolkit, by venue, or by individual pdf.  Visit the toolkits page to learn more!

TRAIN

After reviewing the Implementation Guide and the Toolkits, you should now complete the POC training modules so that you will be ready to implement the 5210 campaign at your installation or in your community!

Training Modules

The seven training modules have been developed to help prepare the POC for implementation of the 5210 health messaging campaign. Parallel trainings have been created for the military communities and civilian communities.

In addition to the Introduction module, there are seven modules that will lead the POC through a step-by-step process to successfully implement the 5210 campaign.  This guidance includes details, like identifying the make-up of the target community; printing and ordering materials, and implementing, maintaining, and sustaining the campaign.  After completing the training modules, you will be ready to move to Step 3 (Implement), which is detailed below.
